Tassu is going through exams and stuff, I'm working my ass off.

I did take today off to catch up on sleep [Friday]. I managed to finish off Code Geass and watch the first episode of season 2. I was personally surprised. It seemed like a repeat of the first episode of series one. Sure, it was slightly different, but still followed the same pattern. Carefree lifestyle, skip school to play chess [different venue], and then some turn of events leads to Lulu meeting C.C. and then she gets shot, and then he remembers/gains power, then he kills some people with his power. It's like someone hit copy + paste with a different animation filter. -grind teeth-

And Tsuikana [refer: #FAKKU] pointed out, the intro featured new NightMares. THEY LOOK LIKE FRIGGN' GUNDAMS! CHRISTCAKES~!

Greatest common factor

So, now we have two pieces out for you. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as we do. This leads directly to the question, why these two? Well, simple answer would be 'because we are Karin/Rei fanboys. And while that answers the question, it's not the whole truth. As you might notice, both of the doujins we've done contain only consensual sex between two people.
Why so? Well, because I don't happen to like gang-bangs or rapes in doujins. You also could call both doujins 'cute'. Well, that is unsurprising as I like cute things in doujins.

So the greatest common factors between those two pieces are cuteness and consensual sex.
And that's the only kind of stuff we are going to publish here anyway.

So guess you could call NB++ 'fan service for the not so pervert guys'. Talking about services, we have got some kind offers asking, if we need any help. As much as we appreciate the offers for help, we don't really need it, as the NB++ isn't scanlator group in any real sense. We are just two guys doing what we like/want and sharing that with rest of the hentai-community.

Though, if you have good quality scans of a doujin that fulfills the conditions mentioned above, lets us know. We will at least check it out, but I can't and won't promise more than that.

OK, I payed for releasing this at 4:30am. Not good, considering the fact no-one really wanted it that early. But evidently my brain isn't functional at those times in the morning. This is our second release which I am proud to present. Yes, there is more talking. That's the way I think we're leaning with our translations. I hope you enjoy it, as again, some effort went into it. Tassu translated it, and then presented the script in a fashion I found easy to work with. I, of course, typesetted and edited. I should take more time, as Tassu managed to point out a few problems with the pre-release copy which I hadn't noticed. But everything is all fixed up now.

I guess I don't have anything to say. Back to doujin editing, seems like it's all I'm around for.

Most fascinating day.

I'm not intending to use this as a personal blog, but today just seems to be something I need to write about.

My day started like every single other weekend would. Crawl out of bed at some odd hour, and do whatever you didn't have planned.

In the span of the last two hours, my ISP has been rather... unhappy, my laptop has broken and I lost several consecutive computer games.

Computer games have never really been my forte. I do like to kill things, and as I'm a dude I'm naturally competitive. For a while this afternoon, I couldn't seem to do anything. I just ended up doing the angry German kid. Shouting, screaming, fuming, smashing my keyboard, hitting my computer and a whole lot of other angry sounds things. I finished my afternoon fustrated, and completely depressed with something so trivial.

Just as things couldn't really irritate me more...
My laptop had the pleasure of bouncing off my bed and making a really nice crunch sound as it hit the ground. I rush over and pull open the screen. It looks fine! For that split second where my eyes were just deceiving my brain out of mistrust. There's a nice crack running along a small corner of the screen, making these big lines come down the left and upper part of it. "Oh, sweet" I think, "It's still operational!". After a quick wave of the touch pad, I realized that this was another thing far from the truth. The system had hung, so I rebooted. Greeted by a nice loud "KERRRRRRRRRRR...Fu-tunk.", the laptop powered itself down. A few times I'd make it into the OS [call it fustration, I know the best thing to do would be to shutdown and backup data] only to crash in hardware fails.

Now I'm emotionally worn out. So I guess all that's left is to drag my dejected ass to work tomorrow and see if I can scrape some money together. There's another doujin in the pipes, it'll get out the other end quicker if I can salvage the data that's on my laptop.

Strike Witches

We all love cat girls. Most of us like mecha. Some of us are WWII geeks. What happens when people who are all that start to work on figurines, then novels and finally on anime?

This happens. They are teen-aged magic girls in alternative universe much like ours. They mount devices called 'Strike' that are loosely based on WWII fighter aircraft. Oh and at the point of merging with their 'strikes', the magic grows cat ears and tails on them. :3

The story is about young japanese girl joining elite squad of said 'strike witches'. The story is apparently focused on war, where the girls side is loosing the battle slowly but surely. Despite this gloomy background, the anime is said to contain some amounts of humour among all the cool aerial action. There's also been some rumours of forbidden love among the girls. *_*

You might think this is crazy.. I think this is the best thing that has come out of japan since sushi bars invaded the west.

Watch that space. That anime (if it ever gets out) will be the talk of all otaku among the world.
They might be magic girls, but they have half-mechanical bodies and are armed to teeth.

Highly Moe, I'd say.
